First off I want to say great blog! I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you do not mind.
I was curious to find out how you center yourself and
clear your thoughts before writing. I have had a difficult time clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out.
I truly do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10
to 15 minutes are usually wasted just trying to figure out how
to begin. Any suggestions or hints? Many thanks!

I always have several drafts on the go at once – from different recipes that I am working on.
I aim to post once a week.
I note down things during the day as I think of them.
I have a note book with ideas for the next recipes & points I want to cover.
I usually upload any photographs at the end of the day.
Also I might do a bit of research then about ingredients or history – or look through my recipe books and magazines.
I usually write first thing in the morning.
Before I start writing on the Blog – I check all my emails – look at the weather report – read the news highlights.
Then I start to write – updating one or two of my drafts – and maybe getting one to be nearly ready to go.
On the day I post – I re-read all the text & pre-view the position of the photos etc – then I post…
I then print out the post – so I have hard copy of all my recipes – which I keep in now 3 large files – under different categories.
